On December 20, 2016, Woodstock Hospital received Accreditation with Exemplary Standing from Accreditation Canada with a compliance score of 99.5%. The voluntary Accreditation process is one of the most effective ways for a hospital to examine and improve the quality of service it provides by comparing its programs and services to national standards of excellence

From the beginning concept, Woodstock Hospital was designed with a host of environmental and energy best practices in mind. Once construction of the new facility was completed, the hospital applied for and achieved LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification at the silver level through the CaGBC (Canadian Green Building Council) and was the first hospital in Ontario to achieve LEED certification, and the first to achieve LEED Silver in Canada.

This award recognizes both staff and employer efforts in creating and nurturing a healthy workplace, as well as the commitment of senior management to improving quality of work life, and the quality of care and services they deliver.
