MRSA / VRE Bacteremia Rates
Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE) are two examples of Antibiotic Resistant Organisms (ARO's) which can cause infections. An infection that occurs in the blood is referred to as a bacteremia. MRSA and VRE Bacteremia’s are one of the key indicators that hospitals must carefully monitor.
