Inpatient Rehabilitation (Unit M300) is a general rehabilitation unit which services people in and around Oxford County. Using a interdisciplinary approach, the team works together with the patient and their families to try and obtain their goal of being discharged back into the community.
Therapy is provided 7 days a week on an individual and group basis. All therapy sessions are tailored to suit the needs of each individual patient while keeping their overall goal in mind. Families are encouraged to participate in patient care when directed by the therapy staff.
The journey of rehab does not end once discharged from the hospital, so further community supports are discussed prior to discharge. Partnering with CCAC allows for a seamless transition between hospital to home to provide continued support in the community.
