Interventions at Woodstock Hospital
Interventions are one to one,smalland/orlargegroup; take place in patient’s rooms, lounges, computer room or library, and in the community. Interventions can be physical, social,emotionaland/orcognitivein nature. Along withtheassessmentanactivityanalysis is done to determine which interventions are most suitable for the patient or group.
E.g. Yoga, boccia ball, walking, horticulture, swimming, music, creative arts, word/number puzzles, cards, games, computers, pet therapy, sensory stimulation, leisureeducationcounselling,communityintegrationandtransportation.
