Giving Back to the Hospital

The Auxiliary to the Woodstock Hospital has generously donated$80,000 for clinical equipment purchases within our hospital. The funds are being directed towards the purchase of patient beds, wheelchairs, stretchers and a thyroid uptake probe for various departments.

The proceeds from the Auxiliary’s Nevada ticket sales have been put towards a software program for our Diagnostic Imaging department’s Echocardiography unit, called Echo-PAC. The EchoPAC software is a comprehensive echocardiography reporting system and will allow image sharing with the cardiologists in London in the future.

“Ultrasounds are something that a large portion of patients at Woodstock Hospital receive, so the Auxiliary thought that supporting a piece of equipment such as the Echocardiography software, was of significant value to the community,” said Brenda Wilson, President of the Auxiliary to WH.
