Woodstock Hospital is committed to providing state-of-the-art care to all patients. In order to do so we must continually invest in technology to ensure we are able to meet the current needs of our community, while also preparing for new ones.

Did you know?

  • We do not receive government funding and rely on the generosity of our community to fund the equipment needs of the hospital.
  • Each year we fundraise to invest in state-of-the-art equipment to ensure our community has access to the latest technology, close to home.
  • Technology has transformed the health care industry, however, as with any piece of technology, medical equipment has a lifespan, and it wears out or is eclipsed with something newer and more advanced. Which means we must continually fundraise for new equipment.

In 2018, some of the equipment we needed to fundraise for included: various equipment for our Mental Health Department, Cardiac Monitors for our Critical Care Unit and Emergency Department, a camera for our Nuclear Medicine Machine, and equipment for our Maternal Child Department including a blanket warmer, a fetal monitor, a wireless fetal monitor, a cardiorespiratory monitor and rolling stands for mounting biliblankets.

Thank you to everyone who supported our 2018 annual fundraising needs, your support is immeasurable in our community.
