Excellent Care for All Act’s Quality Improvement Plan




The Excellent Care for All Act (ECFAA), which received royal assent in June 2010, is a landmark piece of legislation for Ontario. It fosters a culture of continuous quality improvement where the needs of patients come first.

The Quality Improvement Plan provides the means for hospitals to communicate to their public, patients, and staff that they are committed to accountability and transparency, and focused on creating a positive patient experience and delivering high quality health care.
